Spent Sat eve at the Drive-in... soaking up a bit of "culture" and realizing just how good life really is. I took my dad's truck loaded with two mattresses, blankets, couch pillows, and an air mattress and topped off with my 2 nieces, nephew, and 2 foster girls. None had ever been to a drive-in, so I figured it was about time. After arriving, getting settled into the plush comfort, and 
watching the fabulous sunset, we were entertained by both Underdog and Ratatouille. Innocent delight.
The best moment of the night though had to have been around 12:30a when one of the foster girls remarked how much fun she had and said, "It was just like being in the 80's, you know, just like in Grease." I tried to muster the heart to tell her she was many years off in her estimate but my head was reeling from feeling so dog old in the moment I couldn't find the words. Let's face it here, if the remark made me feel old, imagine how Olivia Newton John and John Travolta must be feeling!

Saturday must have been the unofficial drive-in night. We went for the first time ever together and with Ethan tagging along too, because it's just not kosher to leave a baby home alone just for the sake of a date. It was great!
Umm... foster girls? Yours? if so, that's great, but we need some more details here.

howdy rowdy! it's so fun to get on here and read about what's going on in your life. even though we haven't gotten together in an illegal amount of ages, i feel like i still have a connection to the goings on with you. as soon as i get my camera we'll make a foto taking "date".
