No one likes to feel expendable.....it hurts and is very disappointing. You are one person that makes sure no one feels expendable. I appreciate that about you.
This is probably too much over-analyzing, but there's one phrase that caught my attention - "consumed in service." Other parts of the definition totally suck, but it's that part of it that reminds me of what we're supposed to do with our lives - lose them in the service of others. You live for that, and I know Heavenly Father would approve! You're not expendable in any other definition, to be sure!
